Upscale wheel and automotive accessories maker Lexani is the subject of a new licensing campaign by Stone America.NEW YORK—Stone America Licensing is launching a licensing campaign for upscale automotive accessories brand Lexani that will include toys.

Founded in 1996, Lexani markets upscale rims, tires and grills to a clientele of automotive connoisseurs and celebrities from the worlds of music, movies and sports. The Lexani Lifestyle licensed product push will be “high quality, trend-setting, but with value for all to afford,” according to Stone America.

“The Lexani Lifestyle Collection of licensed product will be cutting edge with style and quality consistent with what Lexani represents,” said Robert Stone, president of Stone America. “Lexani Lifestyle products are aspirational and will fill the luxury lifestyle with product for consumers of all ages from remote control vehicles to high fashion apparel to automotive accessories.”

Additionally, Stone America said today it has been assigned to shepherd UK-based Carte Blanche Greetings’ teddy bear themed stationery brand Me to You to the United States.

The property centers on Tatty Teddy, a teddy bear so named because of his patches and sewn-up seams. He already appears globally on a wide range of Me to You products, including greeting cards, plush toys, apparel, calendars, jewelry and collectable figurines, that collectively pull in upwards of $800 million a year in sales, according to Stone America.

“It is important for the future growth of the brand that we work with partners who can help achieve our strategic objective of making Me to You a truly global brand,” said Richard Edmondson, Commercial Director at Carte Blanche, of the agreement. “Through our relationship with Stone America, we are confident of making Me to You as successful in the U.S. as it is in the U.K. and the rest of the world.”
