The circus is in town, and babies can experience all the sights and sounds under the big top in Baby Road Trip Circus. The third title in the new series from Baby is a Star, Inc., this release teaches children about shapes via claymation and other graphic imagery. This is balanced by actual footage from the Big Apple Circus, along with images of children clowning around and performing circus acts of their own. With major touring companies like Ringling Bros. making their way across the country this year, retailers have an incentive to tie this product into a circus-themed in-store promotion for their patrons.
Aiming to keep preschoolers active is the latest title in the Wiggles series. Donning cowboy hats and boots, the gang sets out for the Wild Wild West—Aussie style, of course—and kicks up their heels in Cold Spaghetti Western from HIT Entertainment. Among the more than a dozen new tracks are catchy tunes like "The Wiggle Trail" and "Fiesta Siesta"—one of which just might become the next "Hot Potato, Hot Potato." Stores that count Wiggles fans as loyal customers would be remiss not to stock this video.
