Comcast Corporation, PBS, Sesame Workshop and HIT Entertainment launched PBS KIDS Sprout On Demand, a new video-on-demand (VOD) service on Comcast. Many classic educational programs are included. PBS KIDS Sprout On Demand is available for no additional charge in Comcast markets with VOD service.
Elope, Colorado Springs, Colo., a creative hat and sunglass manufacturer, recently acquired the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory license and has partnered with Warner Bros. to design costume hats and goggles directly from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie, that hits theatres next month.
Earthworks Entertainment, Los Angeles, is showing initial episodes of its boys action-adventure brand Z-Force at the Licensing Show to this month. The completed first two episodes of the 26-half-hour animated series will be showcased.
Joy Tashjian Marketing Group, Danville, Calif., expanded the licensee roster for Fear Factor. Among the signees: Hasbro (Video Now); LeapFrog (FLY pen computer); Masterpieces (Non-electronic board games, puzzles); and Play Interactive (Interactive video game).
