Benitez joins Playthings

Tina Benitez has joined Playthings as associate editor. A journalism graduate of New York University, she is based in the New York headquarters of Reed Business Information, parent of Playthings. She was formerly associate editor of B2B trade publication Incentive magazine, VNU Publishing, and an editor for Business Wire. She also covered film and music for the Village Voice and Premiere magazine.
She will be responsible for the Kids and Mature Audience Entertainment departments, as well as monthly features and cover stories. Benitez will also help produce the weekly email newsletter and write daily news for Playthings.com.
