Zizzle inks exclusive Asian distributor

BANNOCKBURN, Ill.—Startup toy company Zizzle inked an exclusive distribution agreement with Sega to distribute its soon to be launched interactive music character iZ in Japan and Korea.
iZ, a nine-inch three-legged electronic character, will allow users to create their own music through various functions of the toy. The toy will also be iPod compatible. The U.S. launch is slated for later this month at Toys “R” US Times Square.
Roger Shiffman, president of Zizzle, said in a release that “Japan is a hotbed of innovation in electronics and Sega has shown great innovation and leadership in creating and marketing exciting products to their customers.” He added that he expects “iZ to be the first of many success we do together.”
