Building the Blocks

For parents looking for games that help kids develop balance, creativity, counting and sequential skills, 10 multi-colored elephants can do the trick.
The wooden elephants are 2-inch-by-2-inch and part of the game Zimbbos! In the game from Blue Orange, San Francisco, kids stack 10 wooden elephants based on the roll of the die.
For example, players may have one elephant on the bottom, and place four, six or any other combination on top until the last elephant is used. The first player to put the last elephant on top without making the pyramid tumble wins.
The winter version of another popular Blue Orange game, TopiTop, will be out and ready to order for this holiday season. TopiTop teaches tactical skills. The winner is the first to complete a snowman piece-by-piece—a summer version is also available with sand castles.
In addition to Zimbbos! and TopiTop, Blue Orange offers a variety of simple, quick, and challenging games to keep in stock for kids, including Crazy Bluff, Massk, Goblet and Goblet Junior, Banana Slap, Baby Bear and Scoops Surprises.
