Leapfrog and Enfora “connect”LeapFrog entered into an agreement to provide its LeapFrog-branded educational game content to Enfora, a global wireless solutions provider, for use in its new TicTalk parent-controlled educational cell phone for children. Parents control the phone by logging on to a Web site and pre-setting exactly who the child can call and receive calls from, along with how often and what hours and days of the week the phone can be used to call specific numbers.
Moms getting craft crazy!A recent Toy Tracker Survey from Funosophy, Long Beach, Calif., indicates that moms are interested in a variety of arts and crafts activities. In this survey, 200 moms with children ages 3-5 years were asked to rank eight different arts and crafts activities, indicating which projects they were interested in pursuing on their own, which they would enjoy only when doing with their children, and which they thought they would enjoy in both cases. Overall, craft kits and edible crafts appealed most to moms.
Fisher-Price, Loews Hotels team upLoews Hotels and Fisher-Price joined forces in a program designed to entertain Loews' littlest guests. The program, called “Loews Loves Little Kids presented by Fisher-Price,” was developed with early childhood development experts at Fisher-Price's Play Laboratory. It consists of baby and toddler play classes, Fisher-Price welcome gifts for children under 10 years old and a selection of Fisher-Price toys available to loan for children 6 months through 6 years old in the “Kids Kloset.”
