WASHINGTON—In conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Hasbro is voluntarily recalling the Chicken Limbo Electronic Party Game, released by the toymaker's Milton Bradley division. The game has been available in stores since June 2005.
The recall is prompted by 46 reports the company received about the game collapsing unexpectedly, 23 of these reports mentioned injuries including bumps, bruises, welts and red marks, four reports of cuts, one chipped tooth and one fractured foot. The collapses are being attributed to faulty side poles which do not fit their bases properly, making the game unstable.
Consumers are instructed to take the game away from children immediately and contact Milton Bradley to receive a free repair kit containing two plastic replacement side poles to stabilize the toy. For more information, consumers should call Milton Bradley, East Longmeadow, Mass., at (800) 245-0910 or visit www.miltonbradley.com.
