Multimedia performers Blue Man Group and ToyQuest, Los Angeles, have created a line of MP3-compatible musical instruments inspired by the group's popular show. Both the Keyboard Experience and Percussion Tubes ($69.99 to $79.99) allow kids to create, record, layer and play their own compositions with little more than a wave of the hand. “We've been fortunate to be expressing ourselves creatively on stage for many years, it feels important to create projects and products which encourage creative self-expression for others,” says BMG's Matt Goldman. “Creating a quality experience for the children was paramount, and we couldn't be happier with the end result,” adds BMG's Chris Wink.
