Ware there's a will

Video games for groups—not just the traditional two-player or, at best, four-player experience—just got easier. Behold the more family-friendly option: the Game Ware console from Zapit! Games, Ontario, which is DVD-based and hooks up easily to a television.
The console, which retails for at least half the price of most non-next-generation consoles on the market, includes four color-coded, standard-looking wireless remote controls, a removable storage dock that holds up to six remotes, and one game title. When play is done, the console also doubles as a standard DVD player.
Game Ware is packaged with 4 Degrees: The Arc of Trivia, 25 hours of non-repetitive trivia play for up to six people. Victory is based on both players' speed and the correctness of their answers.
Several additional titles will be available this holiday season, including Rewind and Rewind 2005, two titles based on news, events, sports, entertainment and pop culture of the recent past; 4 Degrees Volume 2: Pop Culture; 4 Degrees: Bible Trivia; Zap 21, blackjack for up to six players; Letter Zap!; Click!, in which players guess mystery phrases before time runs out; and Lock 5, a series of dice games.
Game Ware is recommended for ages 10 and older.
