DIC expands exec team

BURBANK, Calif.—DIC Entertainment has updated its executive team with the appointment of David DiLorenzo as vice president of retail development, Lisa Streff as executive director, hardlines, and Joseph Novak as director of international consumer products. 
In his new position, DiLorenzo (pictured right) will be responsible for building relationships with retailers, developing support for DIC’s brand properties, developing and implementing programs and promotional opportunities to support the brands at retail across all categories, increasing retail space and creating maximum exposure. He will also develop sales and marketing strategies with licensees to increase revenue and profitability.
As executive director of licensing, Streff will oversee across all DIC brands hardline categories, including toys, gifts, novelties and collectibles.
Novak will focus on expanding international business in Canada, Australia, Asia and emerging markets and continue to provide support as DIC continues to grow its business in the 80 countries where the company has a licensing presence.
The new appointments were made to help manage the company’s slate of properties, including Slumber Party Girls, Horseland, McDonald’s, Promise Media, CAKE, Dance Revolution, Classic Trolls, Strawberry Shortcake and Madeline.
