'Galoobians' Gather in California

More than 100 former staffers attended a reunion party on June 3 for alumni of Galoob Toys Inc., which closed its doors in 1999, one year after its acquisition by Hasbro. The celebration, held in Burlingame, Calif., drew Galoob veterans from across the U.S. and from as far away as Japan and Costa Rica. "It's remarkable the number of Galoobians who say their time at the company was the best working experience of their lives," Dave Tilbor, a former Galoob exec, told Playthings.
