Manhattan Toy exec joins TIA board

NEW YORK—Arete Passas, president and CEO of Manhattan Toy, Minneapolis, has joined the Toy Industry Association’s board of directors.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Arete Passas to our board of directors. Arete’s wisdom and invaluable experience will add to the dynamic group of seasoned professionals who dedicate their time and guidance on behalf of the entire toy industry,” said Carter Keithley, TIA president.
Passas will occupy the board seat until April 30, 2008.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the organization,” Passas told Playthings.
