Action Products wins final ruling in Kid Galaxy suit

ORLANDO, Fla.—A Florida court of appeals this week upheld a final ruling in Action Products International’s long-running case against Kid Galaxy.
In October 2006, a court awarded damages to Action Products of $5.1 million in its case against Kid Galaxy, its Hong Kong-based owner and a former Action Products executive in a breach of contract suit that Action Products argued cost it the opportunity to acquire Kid Galaxy in 2001.
The court has received $6.1 million in escrow from the defendants.
