These days, the life of a typical American kid is filled to the brim with structured play dates, scheduled activities, computers and, most likely, video games. But makers of play spaces are continuing to provide an open-ended, imaginative alternative, bringing dozens of new play houses, tents, tunnels, canopies, forts and elaborately themed furniture items to retail this year.
