Novelty teeth recalled

WASHINGTON—Funtastic, Houston, is recalling approximately 26,000 sets of novelty Hillbilly Teeth because surface paint violates federal lead safety standards.
The recall involves 2-packs of Hillbilly Teeth bearing item # 2657. The item number is printed on the packaging. The gums are brown and the teeth are yellow. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been incidents or injuries reported involving the product.
Hillbilly Teeth were sold at grocery, drug, convenience and mass retailers nationwide from March 2005 through March 2008 for about $2.
They were manufactured in China.
