Matter Group grows team

SEATTLE—Matter Group LLC, creator of the eco-themed trading card game Xeko, has expanded its staff and announced two promotions.
Abby Katzman has joined the company as Director of Digital Media. She will oversee the company’s website development, an initiative the company says will “bring Xeko to life on the web while engaging children in activities that are both fun and make a difference.” Katzman comes to the Matter Group with six years experience in marketing and entertainment, working for such companies as Microsoft and Experience Music Project.
Greg Camenzind is the company’s new Project & Production Manager, where he will manage all aspects of Xeko product development, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control and manufacturing.
Mark Gross has been promoted from director to vice president of marketing and communication.
Tyler Bielman, previously Game Director for Xeko, has been named Vice President of Research and Development. He has more than 10 years experience working in the collectible game industry, according to the company.
Matter Group launched the Xeko game on Earth Day 2006 and is currently working on projects to extend the Xeko entertainment property into television, film, and merchandise.
