Annicelli named Playthings Editor-In-Chief

NEW YORK—Cliff Annicelli has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Playthings magazine and its related products following the resignation of editorial director Maria Weiskott.
Annicelli has been affiliated with Playthings for the past 14 years. He joined the publication in 1994 as Associate Editor and subsequently rose to Managing Editor. From 2001 through 2005, he served as Director of Online Operations for parent firm Reed Business Information’s New York-based Retail Group of publications. He returned to Playthings in January 2006 to oversee the publication’s day-to-day management.
On July 3, Weiskott resigned from Playthings and its sister publication, Gifts & Decorative Accessories, where she served as Editor-In-Chief, to work on special projects, write and spend more time enjoying her family.
