HL Games goes global

CHICAGO—Board game publisher HL Games USA has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Britain’s Coiledspring Games that will see the company oversee sales of HL’s games in the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland.
“We are delighted to be working with Coiledspring,” said Graeme Thomson, director of HL Games. “Having achieved significant sales growth in the U.S., our company is now focused on a strategy of international expansion. Coiledspring is a first class partner for us in this new phase of growth.”
Coiledspring sells, markets and distributes board games, card games and puzzles in the U.K. and Ireland, including board game titles from across Europe and North America.
In other international moves, HL Games recently signed a distribution pact with Even Toys and Games of Australia to expand its games' availability in Australia and New Zealand.
Founded in 2003, HL Games’ roster includes AmuseAmaze, a winner of the 2008 Mensa Mind Games competition, GO mental and GO mental FUNDAmental.
