NEW YORK—The Toy Industry Association has launched a toy business-specific job site.
A Web-based career center to connect job seekers with prospective employers in the toy industry, TIA’s job board can be found at www.toyassociation.org under the “Tools” tab. Access is open to both TIA members and non-members.
TIA’s employment marketplace distinguishes itself from generalist job boards in a number of ways, according to the trade association. These include: a highly targeted focus on employment opportunities in the toy industry; anonymous resume posting and job application; a job alert system that notifies candidates of new opportunities matching their own pre-selected criteria; and access to industry-specific jobs—and top-quality candidates—often not seen on general commercial job sites.
[Editor's note: The site's most sought after job currently is quality assurance manager.]
