NUREMBERG, Germany—Spielwarenmesse eG, organizer of Nuremberg’s annual international toy fair, announced today that it will for the first time host a pavilion for international toy manufacturers at the Middle East Toy Fair.
An extension of its “World of Toys” program that currently includes participation by Spielwarenmesse at the upcoming Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Spielwarenmesse offers participants exhibition packages or individually designed stand presentations, along with technical organization details—including recommendations on service partners for transport, travel, visa and interpreting services—and show marketing, among other services.
The Middle East Toy Fair takes place in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 23–25, 2009. It services a regional market for toys with a value of approximately $1.5 billion (US) a year and annual growth rates of approximately 12 percent.
“The Middle East Toy Fair is an attractive contact platform for toy manufacturers, suppliers and wholesalers in the Middle East,” said Ernst Kick, Spielwarenmesse’s CEO. “Exhibitors can also reach countries like Iraq or Libya via Dubai, countries which are difficult for manufacturers to access directly. The World of Toys programme gives toy manufacturers a strong marketing presence there. We not only support the companies’ presence at the fair, but also make it easier for them to enter the market and help them to strengthen their existing business contacts.”
The show is organized by EPOC Messe Frankfurt GmbH, a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
