Moee, one of three wooden toys recalled by Earth Friendly LLC because of a potential choking hazardWASHINGTON—Earth Friendly is recalling a combined 1,000 units of three Maya Organic wooden toys because of a potential choking hazard.

The Beaverton, Ore.-based toymaker is recalling Moee, a car (pictured); Cubby, a stacking toy with a bear's head; and Bell, a rattle, because small parts can detach and break from the toys, posing a choking hazard to young children. In addition, the size of the rattle handle violates voluntary rattle standards.

No injuries have been reported related to the toys, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The toys were sold at specialty toy stores in Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington from April 2008 through September 2008 for between $12 and $22. They were made in India.

Consumers are asked to contact Earth Friendly to exchange or receive a refund for the toys. The company can be reached at (888) 360-6292 or www.earthfriendlyllc.com/recall.
