Mattel plans '90210' toys

NEW YORK—CBS Consumer Products has tapped Mattel to produce playthings based on 90210, the revamp of '90s team drama Beverly Hills 92010, currently airing on The CW.
Mattel’s 90210 toys are slated to hit retail shelves in September 2009.
90210 recently received a full-season order from The CW because of its ratings success. The show’s premiere episode ranked as the highest rated series in the network's history, according to CBS Consumer Products.
