RIDGEWOOD, N.J.—The Giddy Gander Co., creator of The Wumblers, this week opens a branded brick-and-mortar store dedicated to the property.
Called The Wumbler Patch, the store will officially open in Ridgewood, N.J., on November 14. The store is designed to resemble a watermelon patch [in The Wumblers' world, Wumbler kids are hatched from watermelons] and will sell all available Wumbler merchandise, plus mark the beginning of the roll out of Wumbler merchandise at other retail stores across the country.
The Wumblers was created to help teach children how to make the world a better place in which to live and grow. The store has been specifically designed to reinforce this goal, while being "fun and engaging for children to participate in and enjoy," according to Giddy Gander's announcement.
