SEATTLE—I Can Do That! Games has signed an exclusive multi-year license with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group to develop games based on the Curious George television series.

I Can Do That! plans to launch three Curious George-themed preschool games in 2009. They will join a game roster that currently includes an assortment of six high-energy titles based on Dr. Seuss books and characters.

“I Can Do That! Games’ innovative and high quality approach to design and product development makes them an ideal partner for Curious George,” said Tricia Chaves, USCP’s Senior Director, Licensing, North and Latin America. “The games will inspire the same curiosity, imagination and discovery that Curious George embodies. We are eager to develop a line of preschool games that fans of the hit television series will want to play again and again.”

The Universal Studios announcement comes as I Can Do That! Games expands its national presence by offering its previously Toys “R” Us-exclusive games to the wider retail community.
