In recent licensing news, Mattel signed on as the global master toy licensee for Cartoon Network's The Secret Saturdays while Toy Island inked a deal for wooden toys based on several leading Nick Jr. properties. Spin Master said its Bakugan game would become a feature film. Online, Action Products debuted a new website, ActionToysInc.com, while both Safari and Mega Brands added online sales to their existing sites. Ty's Toy Box added a Super Why! shop. At retail, FAO Schwarz named Alex its Vendor of the Year and TT&B sealed a deal to open its first Brilliant Sky Toys & Books store in Texas.
