Crayola crafts Marvel deal

NEW YORK—Marvel Entertainment has inked a deal with Crayola for arts and crafts products featuring Marvel’s superheroes.

Under the multi-year license agreement, Crayola will market art and activity products based on Marvel’s Iron Man 2, Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America and The Avengers movies.

"We are excited to be working with Crayola to create innovative products that expand the reach and scope of the Marvel brand and characters to a broad consumer audience,” said Paul Gitter, President of Consumer Products for North America, Marvel Entertainment. “Crayola’s new product lines will integrate Marvel’s renowned Super Heroes into creative and imaginative play patterns, creating an immersive Marvel experience that will engage both new and existing consumers.”

Product categories include Crayola Mess-Free Color Wonder products, including coloring books, posters, coloring pages, markers, finger paints and stamps; Crayola Color Explosion products; coloring pages; sketch and draw sets; dry erase activity sets; and a light-up tracing desk.
