PHILADELPHIA—Bachmann’s Thomas & Friends line is going international for the first time, the model train maker said today.
In a deal with licensor HIT Entertainment, Bachmann has been granted rights to distribute HO scale Thomas & Friends trains in China and Hong Kong.
Mr. Rick Li, managing director of Bachmann China said, “We are very pleased to be expanding such a wonderful product line into new territories and introducing Thomas the Tank Engine to new aspiring engineers around the world!”
Bachmann first introduced HO scale Thomas & Friends specialty products in 2002 in the United States.
