Update: Building the Future of the Toy Industry Conference
July 30, 2008

This week we issued a press release stating three important changes to the Building Our Future Toy Conference.

It will be presented in partnership with Playthings magazine.

It will be held in New York City.

It will take place October 7-8, 2008.

The conference was originally scheduled to take place during the Fall Dallas Toy Show October 12-14, 2008.

We have gotten a number of requests from great individuals who want to attend and share their thoughts.  Unfortunatley, due to the small format of the conference we are limited to no more than twenty people.  Due to the strong interest, however, it is our intention to make this the first in a series of conferences so that we can, in the future, get as many people around the table as possible.

As the press release states: “The first of its kind, the Building the Future of the Toy Industry conference will be a gathering of thought leaders who will address the need for the toy industry to anticipate change and shape the future of play.”  We are excited about our partnership with Playthings and the chance to hold this event about the future in New York City, the place where so much of the toy industry's past has taken place.

More later!
