Grown Up Toys

The news for the toy industry has been pretty serious lately so I thought I would lighten the blog up once a week by featuring my "Grown Up's Toy of the Week." More and more, the concept of what is a toy is changing to include products and characters enjoyed by teens and adults. It seems to me that it might be a good idea for mainstream retailers to create a department that services this type of shopper. Kind of a toy department for people over twelve.
So, each week I am going to showcase a toy that I think would fit perfectly in this new department. I am going to lead off with the "Giant Chicken" from Family Guy. Famous among Family Guy afficianados for his totally unexpected and completely insane fist (and beak) fights with Peter Griffiin, he has to be a mainstay of any Teen/Adult toy department.
