Out of the Toy Box Blog: Banks, money and toy business
Richard Gottlieb writes: Have you heard of CIT? If not, maybe you should. Why, because CIT is the major lender to small and mid-size businesses and CIT is in danger of going bankrupt. The Obama administration wants to take a stand on bailouts and CIT is not getting any more government money. I don’t know the politics of it, but it is, at least for the consumer products industries, some potentially very bad news.
