Created by Toy Tips, the independent toy rating firm and magazine publisher, Toy Tips Toy Cleaner ($5.99 for a 24 oz. bottle) is an all-natural toy cleaning spray made without alcohol, bleach, dyes, artificial fragrances or phosphates that’s designed to gently clean dirt, dust and grime from children's toys. The only thing the product is not intended to do is serve as an antibacterial agent. It can be used on hardwood, vinyl, plastic, aluminum and foam surfaces. Organic essential oils scent the solution with the calming smell of lavender and chamomile.
Toy Tips November 3, 2009: Street Surfing's Whiplash Street Surfing this fall added an innovative twist to the kick scooter with its new Whiplash, a design that combines a caster board flexing deck with a scooter-style handlebar in a patent-pending merger that allows riders to perform all new tricks. Part of the company’s self-propelled Wave caster board series, the Whiplash’s extra wide, skate-inspired deck, available in black with red grip tape, is made of a webbed design carbon reinforced composite material that is supported by an extra long, lightweight handlebar. (The folding handle provides for easy travel and storage, the company says). It has a traditional 97 mm front wheel while the rear caster wheel boasts ABEC 7 bearings. |
