CHICAGO—VTech Electronics North America has begun accepting applicants for its “Whiz Kid Class of 2020” contest, which will benefit three deserving kindergarten classrooms.
Each winning classroom receive several of VTech’s Whiz Kid Learning Systems, along with new computers and printers, as well as a $500 savings bond for each student to jump-start their college savings.
“For the past 30 years, VTech has provided children with educational learning toys to instill a love for education and make learning fun. We are proud and excited to invents in the class of 2020 and give every child an opportunity to chase their educational dreams,” said Julia Fitzgerald, VTech vice president of marketing.
Kindergarten teachers and parents of kindergarten students in the 2007-2008 school year are invited to enter the contest by submitting a classroom photo and writing a short essay describing the class’ need for additional technology in the classroom and how the students would benefit.
