Jakks unveils NASCAR Cabbage Patch Kids

CLEVELAND, Ga.—Jakks Pacific will debut Cabbage Patch Kids dolls done up as NASCAR drivers this week on home shopping channel QVC.
Dubbed NASCAR 'Kids, the assortment will feature Cabbage Patch Kids in likenesses celebrating specific NASCAR drivers, beginning with Dale Earnhardt Jr. on May 22 followed by Jeff Gordon at a to-be-announced date this fall.
NASCAR 'Kids, will have the signature birthmark of CPK creator Xavier Roberts and an authentic birth certificate showing the driver's actual birth date. Each Kid’s “adoption fee” is $45.12 (SRP).

So far, Jakks has only announced plans for the two drivers cited in the story.
