Upper Deck plans 'Kitty' card game

Hello Kitty will soon have her own trading card game courtesy of Upper DeckCARLSBAD, Calif.—Upper Deck has signed on to market a Hello Kitty trading card game.

 

The first release in a multi-year deal with Sanrio Global Consumer Products, Upper Deck’s TCG will, in addition to traditional trading cards, include collectible figures and stickers. It is scheduled to reach retailers in March 2010.

 

“We are so excited to be adding such a global icon to our product portfolio,” said Margeaux Sullivan, Upper Deck’s Hello Kitty brand manager. “Hello Kitty has been charming girls of all ages around the world for more than three decades and we look forward to helping her celebrate her 35th anniversary."

Plans call for Upper Deck to issue three Hello Kitty-related releases in 2010.

hi my name is malcolm baxter, i am from the uk.i wonder if your company would be interested in this propasol. i hold a european patent on the use of sounds into jig saw puzzles. this means that any sounds, verble, musical,talking, or singing ,this is protected by my patent.just imagine nursery ryhmes that talk as you place the said piece in its correct position, place a sheep in and it will play baaa baaa baaa sheep, or a dog barking,cow moooooing.also have talking board games,farmyard game, with animal sounds.this idea has never been done before. if this is of some interest to your companny i would be happy to give more information.i l am based in the north east of england . kind regards malcolm

I am 38 years old and LOVE everything Hello Kitty, my 5 years old daughter is also a big fan of Hello Kitty...can't wait. This will be cool there really isn't that many trading card ideas in motion for GIRLS...Yippee! Hello Kitty is all over our home!
