Please include the name of the feature story you are submitting product for in
the subject line of the email.
Please note: While we try to include as many products as possible, we cannot guarantee any submitted product will be included in our final report due to space constraints and/or the focus of a story being outside of that of your product.

DEPARTMENTS
Playthings'
monthly department pages (i.e. 'Upfront' pages) include coverage of toy
industry trends and exclusive interviews with particularly timely/newsworthy
companies and individuals spanning the children's entertainment businesses. In
addition, we run ongoing product coverage of niche areas of the market on an
ongoing basis, including children's books and multimedia (CDs, DVDs and
kid-friendly or license-based video games.
We are also interested in story ideas
in areas such as:
Retailing/merchandising success
stories ('Upfront: Retail')
Opinion pieces from industry members
on important issues ('Upfront: At Issue')
'How to' stories designed to
improve any area of the toy business ('Upfront: Tips For the
Trade')
Licensing and new properties of note. ('Upfront:
Licensing')
If you have a story idea, or if you are a toy, hobby or children's entertainment industry professional who would like to contribute a bylined article to our magazine, contact Cliff Annicelli (cannicelli@reedbusiness.com), Playthings' editor-in-chief, to discuss your idea.
