Ask a woman of any age about her favorite childhood doll and she will probably cite, chapter and verse, every single detail about it: name, hair color, clothes, face, eyes, body shape, feel, you name it. She may recount the hours spent at play and may even admit to still having the doll tucked away somewhere in her home.
